Vladimir Putin’s superior weapons means US ‘total control’ in Syria ‘IMPOSSIBLE’
Both nations are at loggerheads over the bloody conflict in Syria, with relations reaching their lowest ebb since the Cold War.
The war-ravaged country is increasingly seen as a key battle ground, with both superpowers picking sides with opposing forces.
Russia has backed president Bashar Assad’s regime, while America has thrown its firepower behind the Syrian opposition in the bloody and brutal fight for power.
With conflict appearing to reach deadlock, deputy prime minister of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, said the two warring nations are on a collision course for global war unless there is peace.
But according to Russian newspaper Vzglyad, American “total control” of Syria is “impossible”.
