The Catholic Church runs several health facilities spread across the country of Kenya and says it has scientific proof to show that the drug used during the second phase of tetanus vaccination was laced with an element which sterilizes women against future pregnancies. The church is questioning the secrecy surrounding the exercise, and urged Kenyans to boycott the third phase of the vaccination exercise targeting women aged between 14 – 49.
