‘Shocked’ Melinda Messenger blasts her ‘hostile’ HPV vaccine interview on This Morning
Melinda Messenger is ‘shocked’ by her recent This Morning interview which saw viewers slam her decision to not give daughter Evie the HPV vaccine.
The 45-year-old came under fire from TV doctor Dr Chris Steele, who feared her decision to speak out publicly against the NHS-endorsed vaccine could persuade mums across the country to not give the jab to their own daughters.
However Melinda has now said an ‘extreme’ level of ‘hostility’ has left her even more determined to voice her controversial opinion on the issue.
‘I was shocked and surprised at how Dr Chris Steele treated me during my interview on This Morning, and also when I came off screen as well,’ she said.
‘But really it just highlighted for me how important this conversation is.
