The CDC admitted it has no record of an unvaccinated person spreading Covid after recovering from Covid in response to an attorney’s FOIA request.

A New York attorney filed a FOIA request in September asking for “documents reflecting any documented case of an individual who (1) never received a Covid-19 vaccine; (2) was infected with Covid-19 once, recovered, and then later became infected again; and (3) transmitted SARS CoV-2 to another person when reinfected.”

The CDC responded: “A search of our records failed to reveal any documents pertaining to your request. The CDC Emergency Operation Center (EOC) conveyed that this information is not collected.”

Study: CD8+ T cell responses in COVID-19 convalescent individuals target conserved epitopes from multiple prominent SARS-CoV-2 circulating variants

Results:

As previously described, 60% of individuals included in the analysis were male and samples were collected a median of 42.5 days (interquartile range 37.5–48.0) from their initial diagnosis[8]. The group was selected evenly from tertiles (10 each) according to their overall anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG titers[8,9]. Among the convalescent individuals, there were 132 SARS-CoV-2-specific CD8+ T cell responses corresponding to 52 unique epitope reactivities directed against several structural and non-structural target epitopes from the entire proteome.

Of all the mapped mutations, insertions, and deletions (n=45), only one mutation was found to fall within one of the 52 unique epitopes identified in the previous study (Fig 1, S1). This mutation is the D80A mutation in the viral Spike protein, and occurs in the third residue of the RFDNPVLPF epitope. This is a HLA*A24:02-restricted epitope for which a CD8+ T cell response was detected in only one individual, and at a low frequency, indicating this is not a high-prevalence epitope within the studied cross-sectional sample.

In a live interview with PBS NewsHour, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky mistakenly said “people dying from this VACCINE” instead of “people dying from Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).”

The gaffe suggests that something is amiss, be it with the efficacy of the vaccine or the link between vaccinations and deaths.

During the live interview, host Judy Woodruff and Walensky were talking about new COVID-19 cases in the United States. Walensky’s alarming Freudian slip was caught on camera.

As Woodruff was closing the interview, she talked about how the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in the country are still too high. She then asked Walensky when the number of COVID deaths “is going to be about what it is for the regular flu” or if the scenario is even possible given how the pandemic has devastated countries across the globe.

Walensky mentioned that the decline in case rates was encouraging, at the same time acknowledging that COVID-19 death rates are high. “We know that the people who are dying from this vacc-,” said Walensky before pausing to correct herself.

She continued to say that there’s a higher chance people will die from the coronavirus if they remain unvaccinated. Walensky added that people can stop infections by getting vaccinated, even if data suggests that the disease can still spread even among those who are inoculated.

Walensky added that the CDC is doing its best to provide information to convince people to get vaccinated because most COVID-19 deaths are “preventable deaths.”

Numerous schools in a Michigan township closed on Monday after numerous staff members fell ill suffering “negative reactions” from COVID-19 booster shots.

As employees get fired or resign from their jobs for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate, schools in the Saginaw school district and around the country are substantially understaffed.

After numerous staff members of Saginaw County Community Schools received an experimental COVID booster shot over the weekend, they had negative reactions and were too sick to return to work, forcing the township’s elementary, middle and high schools to close in the district on Monday.

“A large number of our staff had a negative reaction to the COVID booster shot given at a voluntary clinic over the weekend,” Saginaw Township Community Schools announced on the homepage of its website and Facebook page on Monday. “There is a substitute teacher/staff shortage throughout the state, further complicating the availability to cover those absences.”

About 11,000 Boeing Co. employees have asked to be exempted from COVID-19 vaccines the planemaker has mandated, according to a person briefed on the matter, a sign of backlash among some rank-and-file workers to the Biden administration’s rules for government contractors.

Nearly 9% of the company’s U.S. workforce are balking at the policy, stirring up strife at a time when Boeing is working to turn around its finances, resolve quality lapses and starting to lay the groundwork for contract talks with its largest union. Reuters reported the extent of the pushback to the policy earlier.

White House Tells Businesses to Proceed With Vaccine Mandate Despite Court-Ordered Pause

The White House on Monday said businesses should move forward with President Joe Biden’s vaccine and testing requirements for private businesses, despite a federal appeals court ordering a temporary halt to the rules.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, considered one of the most conservative appellate courts in the country, halted the requirements Saturday pending review, writing that “the petitions give cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate.”

In its response Monday evening, the Biden administration asked the court to lift the pause, dismissing the states’ and companies’ claims of harm as “premature” given that the deadlines for vaccination and testing are not until January.

A doctor who was banned by the General Medical Council from discussing COVID-19 on social media after claiming “masks do nothing” has taken his case to the High Court in London.

The social media ban was a condition imposed on Dr Samuel White’s registration with the GMC after he posted a video to Instagram and Twitter in June.

In the video, White said why he could no longer tolerate working in his previous roles because of the “lies” around the NHS and the government’s response to the pandemic, which were “so vast” he could no longer “stomach” them, the court was told.

The doctor also raised concerns about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine and the reliability of COVID tests while also asserting, “masks do nothing.”
