In August, 2014, I wrote in a blog post, “Now, there may be proof that the CDC not only knew about the link between the MMR vaccine and autism but they changed the data in a landmark 2004 study to hide the damning data. What did the heads of the CDC do? They altered the data and reported in 2004 (1) that there was no association between autism and the MMR vaccine. Who wrote this article? William Thompson, PhD, the whistleblower, was one of the authors of that 2004 study. He is reported to be suffering with regret and remorse over the damage that has been done to our children over the last ten years.”
The data that was altered showed a whopping 240% increase in autism cases among African American males who received the MMR vaccine before 36 months of age. Furthermore, there was a 69% increase risk in any male injected with MMR before 36 months of age. Guess which racial group has the highest incidence of autism? If you guessed African American males, you win the prize. Guess who suffers with more autism, boys or girls? If you guessed boys, you win again.

Johns Hopkins Researcher Releases Shocking Report On Flu Vaccines
In 2015, a whole new slew of flu vaccines found themselves getting approved by the Federal Drug Administration. This isn’t an uncommon practice; most flu vaccines pass inspection every year. It’s well known advice that has been passed down from doctor to patient that the flu vaccine is something that we all should get, but it has been quickly surfacing that what’s in the vaccines–especially those from 2015 and after–might actually be more damaging then simply rolling the dice on getting the flu.
The ingredient that is getting the most flack is called an adjuvant. The particular one involved is called Squalene, and it has been linked to auto-immune disease side effects. In fact, it may have been used during chemical attacks in the Gulf War. Symptoms include chronic fatigue, muscle aches, and neurologic damage.

STUDY: Reality Trumping Establishment Vaccine “Facts”
The past week has offered glimpses of hope for the growing number of people who know they are being lied to by the mainstream medical establishment about vaccine safety. More people are now aware that the kind of rigorous testing required for drugs to be put on the market does not apply to vaccines, or that vaccines like the HPV shot were not properly tested against a saline placebo before approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Yet, the medical establishment continues to omit these facts and instead focuses on why vaccine hesitancy is on the rise. Studies are being done in an attempt to understand vaccine hesitancy and come up with solutions to the “problem” of poor vaccine uptake. In 2014, the Boston Globe ran the headline Doctors Still Hesitant to Urge HPV Vaccine for Teenagers, highlighting a survey from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in which the agency stated that the inoculation rate is ‘unacceptably low.’ In 2015, NPR ran the story titled Doctors, Not Parents, Are the Biggest Obstacle to the HPV Vaccine in response to a study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, which found that more than a quarter of pediatricians and family doctors do not strongly endorse the HPV vaccine.
A new study in the journal PLOS One titled Misinformation Lingers in Memory: Failure of Three Pro-vaccination Strategies is an eye-opener at how clueless the medical establishment appears to be as to why its vaccine propaganda is being rejected. In this study, the researchers compared three strategies in vaccine promotion: a) contrasting myths vs. “facts,” b) employing “fact” and icon boxes, and c) showing images of non-vaccinated sick children. It should be noted that when the study’s authors refer to “facts,” they are using the term to mean vaccine propaganda. Beliefs in the autism-vaccine link and in vaccines side effects, along with intention to vaccinate a future child, were evaluated both immediately after the “correction intervention” and after a 7-day delay to reveal possible backfire effects. The study concluded the following:
“Results show that existing strategies to correct vaccine misinformation are ineffective and often backfire, resulting in the unintended opposite effect…”

Study – The Introduction of Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis and Oral Polio Vaccine Among Young Infants in an Urban African Community: A Natural Experiment
Highlights
•When DTP and OPV were introduced in Guinea-Bissau in 1981, allocation by birthday resulted in a natural experiment of being vaccinated early or late.
•Between 3 and 5 months of age, children who received DTP and OPV early had 5-fold higher mortality than still unvaccinated children.
•In the only two studies of the introduction of DTP and OPV, co-administration of OPV with DTP may have reduced the negative effects of DTP.
Few studies have examined what happened to child survival when DTP and OPV were introduced in low-income countries. These vaccines were introduced in 1981 in an urban community in Guinea-Bissau from 3 months of age in connection with 3-monthly weighing sessions. Children were therefore allocated by birthday to receive vaccines early or late between 3 and 5 months of age. In this natural experiment vaccinated children had 5-fold higher mortality than not-yet-DTP-vaccinated children. DTP-only vaccinations were associated with higher mortality than DTP + OPV vaccinations. Hence, DTP may be associated with a negative effect on child survival.
Results
Among 3–5-month-old children, having received DTP (±OPV) was associated with a mortality hazard ratio (HR) of 5.00 (95% CI 1.53–16.3) compared with not-yet-DTP-vaccinated children. Differences in background factors did not explain the effect. The negative effect was particularly strong for children who had received DTP-only and no OPV (HR = 10.0 (2.61–38.6)). All-cause infant mortality after 3 months of age increased after the introduction of these vaccines (HR = 2.12 (1.07–4.19)).
Conclusion
DTP was associated with increased mortality; OPV may modify the effect of DTP.

He continues with a brief history of his experiences in general and describes how he got interested in the whole question of immunization. He recalls that after graduating from medical school, he was a supporter of vaccination policies, as was everyone else he knew. Then he relates to the Committee the story of the eldest of his three children, born in 1957, who at eighteen months received a smallpox vaccination and who, eight days later was no longer able to stand up in his crib. It was at that time that someone approached him to become a member of a protective association in Germany. It was through this group that he got to know other vaccination damage cases.

Study – Human papillomavirus vaccination and risk of autoimmune diseases: A large cohort study of over 2million young girls in France.
RESULTS:
Among 2,252,716 girls, 37% received HPV vaccine and 4,096 AID occurred during a mean follow-up time of 33months. The incidence of AID was not increased after exposure to HPV vaccination, except for Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) (incidence rate of 1.4 among exposed [20 cases] versus 0.4 per 100,000 PY among unexposed [23 cases]; adjusted HR: 3.78 [1.79-7.98]). This association persisted across numerous sensitivity analyses and was particularly marked in the first months following vaccination. Under the hypothesis of a causal relationship, this would result in 1-2 GBS cases attributable to HPV vaccine per 100,000 girls vaccinated.
CONCLUSIONS:
Our study provides reassuring results regarding the risk of AID after HPV vaccination, but an apparently increased risk of GBS was detected. Further studies are warranted to confirm this finding.

Study – Detection of contaminants in cell cultures, sera and trypsin.
Abstract
The aim of this study was standardization and application of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the detection of contaminants in cell cultures, sera and trypsin. Five PCR protocols were standardized to assess the presence of genetic material from mycoplasma, porcine circovirus 1 (PCV1), bovine leukemia virus (BLV) or bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) in cell culture samples. PCR reactions for the genes GAPDH and beta-actin were used to evaluate the efficiency of nucleic acid extraction. The PCR protocols were applied to 88 cell culture samples from eight laboratories. The tests were also used to assess potential contamination in 10 trypsin samples and 13 fetal calf serum samples from different lots from five of the laboratories. The results showed the occurrence of the following as DNA cell culture contaminants: 34.1% for mycoplasma, 35.2% for PCV1, 23.9% for BVDV RNA and 2.3% for BLV. In fetal calf sera and trypsin samples BVDV RNA and PCV1 DNA was detected. The results demonstrated that cell culture, sera and trypsin used by different laboratories show a high rate of contaminants. The results highlight the need for monitoring cell cultures and controlling for biological contaminants in laboratories and cell banks working with these materials.

In the 1990s, French clinicians and researchers began noticing and reporting on a mysterious inflammatory muscle disorder with a distinctive pathological pattern that later earned the name “macrophagic myofasciitis” or MMF.1 Myofasciitis refers to inflammation of muscles and their connective tissue (fascia).
Initially, the cause and features of MMF were unknown. Subsequent research by French investigators elucidated that the deltoid muscle lesions characteristic of MMF were secondary to intramuscular injection with vaccines containing aluminum hydroxide adjuvants.2 The lesions revealed both an ongoing local immune reaction along with long-term persistence of aluminum hydroxide at the injection site.2
An ongoing series of admirably methodical studies also have confirmed a number of other post-vaccination clinical symptoms associated with MMF.3 These disabling health problems include not just muscle pain but joint pain, chronic fatigue, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, autoimmunity, and cognitive dysfunction.4 The cognitive deficiencies experienced by MMF patients mirror the cognitive impairments that have been observed to result from chronic exposure to aluminum particles.5 Together, all of these dysfunctions are “paradigmatic” of an emerging aluminum-adjuvant-related syndrome that has come to be known as ASIA (autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome induced by adjuvants).

The wheels of justice didn’t turn at all in Philadelphia because the Church concealed the crimes and protected the rapists.
In this column on Friday, a reference was made to the quote from Chinese author Sun Tzu or Sūn Wu in “The Art of War” that says “the wheels of justice grind slow, but grind exceedingly fine.” The statement is relatively accurate in the secular world, but is not remotely applicable to religion; particularly the Catholic religion. This is not an indictment of the faith as a whole, but it is a condemnation of the Vatican leadership that allowed pedophilia by its clergy to go unpunished and unreported despite the tens-of-thousands of lives that have been forever ruined.
There will never be any real justice for the victims of sexual abuse perpetrated by Catholic priests in and around Philadelphia; at least not in the sense that even one of the 50 serial rapists will ever be punished. In those cases, the wheels of justice not only did not turn slowly, they didn’t turn at all because the Church concealed the crimes and protected the rapists. However, according to a grand jury report released Tuesday; “Hundreds of children in western Pennsylvania were sexually assaulted by 50 Roman Catholic priests over four decades while the diocese’ Catholic bishops covered up their actions.”

ALTOONA — After the tolling of the noon hour Tuesday at the magnificent domed Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, whose towering perch above this historic railroad town reflects the Catholic Church’s long powerful presence in central Pennsylvania, the Rev. Dennis Kurdziel left little doubt for whom the bell tolled.
“Pray for the victims,” said Father Kurdziel in a somber noontime Mass, held less than two hours after the release of a state grand jury report finding that hundreds of children were abused by at least 50 priests and others associated with the church in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown across nearly half a century.
“Pray for your bishop,” added Father Kurdziel, associate pastor of the cathedral. “Pray for your priests. I need your prayers. Ask for God’s help, even on this very ugly day.”
And with that, the congregation of several dozen bowed in extended silent prayer before resuming the Mass liturgy.
Across town at the Blair County Convention Center, authorities were releasing a catalog of horrors in a 147-page report by the 37th Statewide Investigating Grand jury, which spent nearly two years delving into the case.

British anti-ISIS veteran crowdfunds his 3rd ‘tour’ to Syria

A British former soldier wants to travel to Syria for the third time to help the Kurds fight Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
Steven Kerr, from Northamptonshire, hopes to join the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in their on-going assault on the IS capital of Raqqa.
Kerr, a 58-year-old father of two, quit his job as a warehouse manager two years ago to join the YPG on the frontlines of Syria.
Having served in the British Army from 1978 to 1984, he thought that his military background might help the Kurds in their fight against IS.
“I saw the atrocities ISIS were doing on the Kurdish civilians. And I just thought with my military experience I might be able to do something to help,” Kerr told the Sunday Times.
Kerr got in touch with the YPG leadership through Facebook and has spent over 11 months in the combat zone in the past two years.
In his first tour, Kerr helped the Kurdish militia to defend a number of villages along the Euphrates, where he was wounded by a mortar shell.
“We used to get mortared constantly, every day and night. You hear the thump of the mortar being fired. Then if you count to 10 and get past 10 you know the round has gone way overhead.
“One night we got to nine and then the side of the building caved in. I got shrapnel in my head, eyes and legs,” he said.
After only two months of recovering in the UK, Kerr returned to Syria, where he again fought with the YPG until April 2016.
The former soldier said that despite the periods of highly intensive combat, including the near-constant sniper fire and mortar shelling, he frequently suffered from boredom while on the frontlines in Syria.
“Having to just sit in a village when there’s nothing to do, it can grate on you after a while.

There are now nearly 6 million Syrian children suffering from the perils of war, including hundreds who were killed, maimed or recruited to fight in 2016, the worst year on record for Syrian children, a UN watchdog has said.
“The depth of suffering is unprecedented. Millions of children in Syria come under attack on a daily basis, their lives turned upside down,”said Geert Cappelaere, UNICEF regional director for the Middle East and North Africa, speaking from Homs, Syria. “Each and every child is scarred for life with horrific consequences on their health, well-being and future.”
At least 652 children died last year, and 255 of them were killed in or near their schools, the UNICEF report said. That signals a 20 percent increase on the number killed during 2015.
“A father in Aleppo lives with the trauma of letting his daughters go to school,” Cappelaere said, retelling one of the many heart-breaking stories from the conflict. “They left their makeshift home one morning with their schoolbags on their backs. Only their lifeless bodies returned after a shell slammed into their classroom.”
UNICEF also believes more than 850 children were recruited to take part in hostilities – double the number in 2015 – and were used as executioners, suicide bombers or prison guards.
While horrifying, the number pales in comparison to the 5.8 million Syrian children who are dependent on humanitarian assistance – a twelvefold increase from 2012, the organization said.
“Beyond the bombs, bullets and explosions, children are dying in silence often from diseases that can otherwise be easily prevented. Access to medical care, lifesaving supplies and other basic services remains difficult,” the report added.
Almost half of those in need were displaced, many of them up to seven times, and over 2.3 million children are now living as refugees in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.
Child refugees living in relative safety in neighboring countries are still deprived of some basic needs, unable to go to school and forced to beg or do low-paying jobs to make the ends meet, the UNICEF report said.
Unsurprisingly, many children took life-threatening journeys on the so called ‘death boats’ crossing the Mediterranean to reach Europe.

Six years of war in Syria means many of the country’s youngest citizens have never known a time of peace. RT visited the war-torn country to speak to children who are all too familiar with the death and violence that plagues Syria every day.

Some have stories of dodging bombs and sniper bullets, while others speak of being constantly on the move to escape the violence.

Christian Churches in India Rapidly Growing Despite Surge in Persecution, Says Report
India, a predominantly Hindu nation, sees a rise and growth of megachurches with members “from all walks of life,” according to a report.
From farmers to urban dwellers and almost everywhere in between, Christians in India are packing churches to the thousands. According to a report from Christianity Today, there are approximately 25 to 60 million Christians in the country, most of whom are Catholics, while about 1 billion Indians are Hindus.
The growth has been surprising. In a farming community in Rajasthan, for example, a congregation of 2,000 attends the service every Sunday. In some cases, family members have to take turns going to the service so that someone is left behind to take care of the farm animals.
The church is pastored by Bhagwana Lal, who hails from the tribal group considered to be below the Dalits, India’s lowest caste and society’s outcasts.
Another church in the city of Hyderabad, which can fit 35,000 people, gets packed during each one of its five services every Sunday. Calvary Temple is dubbed as the “largest church in India.” It is pastored by Satish Kumar.
“Many Americans think nothing is happening among Christians in India,” said Kumar, referring to Christians outside of his country. “We have to change that opinion.”

Wars and Rumors of Wars

While going through today’s main events, I noticed that they are not covered by the main stream media. In order to oversimplify the answer one can only use the three whys solution.

Why?

• Because they don’t want for the people to be informed.

Why?

• Is it because they don’t what to cause panic and because they hope and somehow know the men and women who are in charge of one’s nation destiny, know what they do and want to defuse the situation?

Why will the people in charge want to defuse this type of situation?

• Is the economy booming?

Mark Twain said, “If you don’t read the papers you’re uninformed. If you do read them, you’re misinformed.”

That’s why I want to draw your attention to a recent article called “The Isolationist Temptation,” in The Wall Street Journal, written by Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations.

The piece wasn’t worth reading—except that it offers some real insight into what the “elite” are thinking. The CFR is one of about a dozen groups, like Bilderberg, Bohemian Grove, and Davos, where the self-identified elite gather.

These groups don’t have political power, per se. But their members are members of governments, large corporations, universities, the military, and the media. They all went to the same schools, belong to the same clubs, socialize together and, most important, share the same worldview. What might that be? They believe in the State—not the market—as the best way to organize the world.

Believe it or not (I still don’t…) I was recently invited to one of these conclaves. Probably by mistake. I don’t expect to be a fox in the henhouse, but more like a skeleton at a feast. I’ll tell you all about it next month…

• Are we living in prosperous times?

It’s now clear that what governments did to counter the Great Recession may have delayed systemic collapse, but did not resurrect the old normal. Growth around the world is anemic – which is to say debt continues to increase faster than the productive capacity to service it – and inflation (the other way to shrink a debt burden) remains below target.

Now “anemic” is becoming “non-existent.” In the US, mini-credit-bubbles like auto loans, home mortgages and student loans are sputtering, leading economists to dial back their rosy scenarios for 2016. The Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow forecast for Q3 growth, for instance, was a robust 3.8% in August but is now less than 2% — and still falling.

• Do we plan to continue the colonization of space?

• No more money is made out of the suffering of the common people?

We believe we are approaching a dramatic fulcrum point in public opinion in Europe which could deliver another bout of outsized positive returns from a unique Eclectica trade.

Since the Brexit referendum we have been developing our thoughts about what the Leave vote might mean, not just for the UK, but for the European project as a whole. And our main conclusion is that by doing the unthinkable and actually voting to leave, Brexit substantially increases the likelihood that other members of the European Union will also seek to break away. Remember, just two years after the UK similarly rejected the gold standard back in 1931 there were just 12 remaining members versus the 45 that had previously been committed. And the so far robust performance of the UK economy since the vote will do little to dissuade others from following suit.

So we have the precedent from a much earlier time (the 1930s) when the defection of just one member from a currency union caused the system to unwind rapidly. And we can clearly sense the seeds of another popular political revolt in other member countries; a flurry of upcoming elections and referendums provides an immediate catalyst.

No.

Because the majority of the people doesn’t seem to pay much attention to what is happening. They don’t rely care and they don’t want to get involved. (I’m also included into this group. Why? Too little. Too late.)

Life, in the western world has become comfortable. We have been raised to believe that if we have our big screen TV, the latest phone, car and clothes nothing else should matter. We shouldn’t be concerned on who or how are they made and how much suffering goes into building the modern western dream.

But it wasn’t built to last. It was built to numb us down. As one ex Black Panther member said: Where are all the vikings, knights, shoguns and legionaries who conquered the world?

Well … they are watching sports, porn, playing games, drinking bear and are concerned on how to be like the cast of the Big Bang Theory and be concerned about the latest fad. (Before I started to wake up I did the same, know I’m trying, little by little, to redeem my life because I don’t want for my soul to be cast from the face of God).

What might happen if we all decide to lay down and do nothing?

This is a real possibility:

A 90 year old woman from a Lutheran Church in Valdres, Norway received a vision from God in the 1960’s. Emanuel Minos, a Norwegian Pentecostal evangelist, held revival meetings where this womanlived in 1968. She came to one of his meetings and told him what she had seen and Minos wrote it down. The woman from Valdres was known for being alert, reliable and a credible Christian with a good reputation.

What can we do to prepare for this?

We can do what the elites are doing. Sell everything by a plane ticket to New Zealand and build a bunker. This is one thing, but unrealistic, because if the planet is destroyed…what then? Go in the woods with all the guns, gold and food that you have bought in special sale from a survivalist blog? Yes but what will you do when the loneliness starts to kick in, we are a social species and living outside is not rely a solution. Don’t fear, Wilson the volleyball will be there for us. And what happens when all the food and ammo runs out? Do we eat the gold? Sure we can. But then what do we do when the gold runs out and death comes knocking? Have we prepared for this? Who can save us then? 2 Timothy 1:9

What is going to take place if a global event like a world war will happen again? I believe that this time is different. This time there will not be winners and loosers like in the old wars. Because we now have the possibility to wipe out the entire planet out of existence.

Imagine this if you can…how was it possible for the human race to evolve so much in the last 10-20 years and not do the same from the beginning of our history until … lets say the 1800s? Is it because we have somehow changed our brain capacity and evolved into a new homo sapiens species and figure out what is our purpose or the true meaning of life? No. We are the same cave dwellers but with “smart” digital devices and nuclear weapons. But at least God saw the road we were heading for and gave us a free get out of jail card. Why I’m saying this is free? Easy….

We just have to believe that He loved us so much and didn’t throw Adam and Eve into the burning fire of Hell or that he didn’t wipe all us out during the flood and he sent His only Sun to die for all our sins in order for all of us the have a chance of living were we were supposed to live.

Don’t be troubled. If these are the last days then there is hope. This hope doesn’t lie in the guns, gold or some nuclear bunker in New Zealand, but it lies in Jesus.

In April 1955 more than 200 000 children in five Western and mid-Western USA states received a polio vaccine in which the process of inactivating the live virus proved to be defective. Within days there were reports of paralysis and within a month the first mass vaccination programme against polio had to be abandoned. Subsequent investigations revealed that the vaccine, manufactured by the California-based family firm of Cutter Laboratories, had caused 40 000 cases of polio, leaving 200 children with varying degrees of paralysis and killing 10.

certain facts in the history of polio vaccination:
1. There has been more than one type of polio vaccine through its history, due to the fact that earlier versions were found to be ineffective and harmful.
2. The occurrence of polio was trending downward prior to the introduction of polio vaccines.

4. The history of the polio vaccine is a history of contamination of the vaccines responsible for the injury and deaths of countless people.
Update: The New York Times just published a story recently about new strains of the polio vaccine being developed. Here is what they wrote concerning the current strain of the polio vaccine:
The Sabin vaccine has drawbacks, however: it contains a still-live virus that was mutated long ago so that it is usually too weak to produce disease. In rare cases, it can mutate back into a dangerous form that paralyzes or kills. And the vaccine is risky in children with immune-system problems. For those reasons, the World Health Organization plans to eventually phase it out.

Did Vaccines Really Eradicate Polio?

“The tendency of a mass vaccination program is to herd people. People are not cattle or sheep. They should not be herded. A mass vaccination program carries a built-in temptation to oversimplify the problem; to exaggerate the benefits; to minimize or completely ignore the hazards; to discourage or silence scholarly, thoughtful and cautious opposition; to create an urgency where none exists; to whip up an enthusiasm among citizens that can carry with it the seeds of impatience, if not intolerance; to extend the concept of the police power of the state in quarantine far beyond its proper limitation; to assume simplicity when there is actually great complexity; to continue to support a vaccine long after it has been discredited;… to ridicule honest and informed consent.[1]”
Now it is admitted in the medical literature that other viruses can cause polio, yet few people on the street have any idea.
Prior to 1954, the following undoubtedly hid behind the name “poliomyelitis”: Transverse Myelitis, viral or “aseptic” meningitis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)- (what Franklin Delano Roosevelt had)[4], Chinese Paralytic syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, epidemic cholera, cholera morbus, spinal meningitis, spinal apoplexy, inhibitory palsy, intermittent fever, famine fever, worm fever, bilious remittent fever, ergotism, post-polio syndrome, acute flaccid paralysis(AFP).
Included under the umbrella term “Acute Flaccid Paralysis” are Poliomyelitis, Transverse Myelitis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, enteroviral encephalopathy, traumatic neuritis, Reye’s syndrome etc.

Does the public have any idea that there are hundreds of cases of something that would once have been called polio, and some of those children will be dependent on a modern version of the iron lung?  No.  Parents today think that the Salk vaccine eliminated any need for ventilators, because the pictures of all these children on iron lungs are no longer paraded in front of people in order to create fear.  Besides which, today’s “iron lungs” don’t look like a prototype submarine.  They are barely recognizable as today’s “ventilators.”
The polio vaccine had the fastest licensing in FDA history. It was approved for commercial production after only a two-hour deliberation amongst the Licensing Committee, in a pressured environment. These scientists witnessed a vaccine that was escorted to market, before academic and community doctors had a chance to read any published reports on the safety studies, and before the results of the big polio vaccine trial made it into any medical journal. If these scientists had had more say, it is likely that the “Cutter” disaster and the “Wyeth problem,” both events that led to crippling or death of vaccine recipients just weeks following the hurried vaccine licensing – could have been averted.
“Previously it [the vaccine] had been distributed as an experimental product, not a licensed product…the committee was asked to come to a decision very quickly…there was discussion of the report that Dr Francis had given, but we were not in a position to discuss it very intensively because we had not seen the report prior to this morning and the report was distributed to us after the presentation…we were pressured in the sense that we were told that speed was essential, and when we came up toward the 5:00 time, some of us felt we would like to discuss this matter more.  We were told that to discuss the matter further it would have to go into the following week, and we would have to go to Washington or Bethesda and most of the members were unwilling to do so.  We were in effect pressured into an earlier decision than we ordinarily would have made. …It was part of the pressure of events, put it that way.[5]”
And that is only the beginning of the polio story, the likes of which currently serve as the foundation of modern belief in vaccination, even by those who may have doubts regarding current vaccine policy.
