The healthcare system in Mosul is still far from adequate due to the “massive extent of devastation” inflicted, more than six months since the end of the battle for the city, UNICEF’s representative in Iraq told RT.
The situation in Mosul remains tough, with its residents having extremely limited access to health facilities, despite all the efforts of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and other humanitarian organizations, Peter Hawkins said. The official has recently paid a personal visit to Mosul to hand over equipment to a public health laboratory and witnessed the situation on the ground.
“What we need to understand is the extent of the problem. This is a massive city. Mosul city probably faced one of the biggest urban warfares since World War II and 2.2 – 2.4 million people affected. It’s an enormous challenge to everybody to try and clear everything up and get the people working again,” Hawkins told RT.
The city is still struggling to adjust some seven months after it was “liberated” from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorists by Iraqi troops, backed by the US-led coalition. West Mosul has suffered the most, enduring a months-long siege and heavy bombardment, and the situation there is still worse than in other parts of the city.
“If you’re in the east side it’s much better, on the west side the level of devastation was extraordinary. But wherever you are, the number of healthcare centers, hospitals is very limited, the extent of the damage has affected it,” Hawkins said.
“You have to understand the massive extent of devastation,” he added. “It’s a wide area, wide levels of devastation, families have to walk enormous distances to be able to get the health care.”

New Study: Infant Mortality More than Doubles After DTP-Vaccine

A new study published in Ebiomedicine by researchers Søren Wengel Mogensen and associates examined mortality rates of infants between the ages of 3 and 5 months who were given early vaccinations for DTP (Diptheria-Tetanus-Pertussis) and OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine) suffered a 5-fold infant mortality rate compared to infants who were not given the vaccine.
Though the study conducted in Guinea-Bissau, Africa, measured mortality rates for DTP and OPV administered together, there was still shockingly higher mortality rates for children given the DTP vaccine alone.
The researchers concluded:
“DTP was associated with increased mortality; OPV may modify the effect of DTP.”
This study is alarming for several reasons. First, you likely won’t hear about it from your pediatrician or from mainstream media.

•In the only two studies of the introduction of DTP and OPV, co-administration of OPV with DTP may have reduced the negative effects of DTP.
Few studies have examined what happened to child survival when DTP and OPV were introduced in low-income countries. These vaccines were introduced in 1981 in an urban community in Guinea-Bissau from 3 months of age in connection with 3-monthly weighing sessions. Children were therefore allocated by birthday to receive vaccines early or late between 3 and 5 months of age. In this natural experiment vaccinated children had 5-fold higher mortality than not-yet-DTP-vaccinated children. DTP-only vaccinations were associated with higher mortality than DTP + OPV vaccinations. Hence, DTP may be associated with a negative effect on child survival.
Results
Among 3–5-month-old children, having received DTP (±OPV) was associated with a mortality hazard ratio (HR) of 5.00 (95% CI 1.53–16.3) compared with not-yet-DTP-vaccinated children. Differences in background factors did not explain the effect. The negative effect was particularly strong for children who had received DTP-only and no OPV (HR = 10.0 (2.61–38.6)). All-cause infant mortality after 3 months of age increased after the introduction of these vaccines (HR = 2.12 (1.07–4.19)).
Conclusion
DTP was associated with increased mortality; OPV may modify the effect of DTP.

Here’s yet another story similar to the one we shared yesterday.”Some hospitals tell their nurses to wear masks to prevent the possible spread of germs or infections as an alternative to getting vaccines, and many who choose the mask over mandatory vaccinations have taken to the Web to share their pictures, and their stories. The Nurses Against Mandatory Vaccines (NAMV) organization recently named this past October “Show Me Your Mask Month” for the nurses to see that they are not alone.
The organization, founded as a response to mandatory vaccinations in the workplace, believes that everyone should have the right to choose which medical treatments are administered to them. The group has over 30,000 fans on Facebook and has shared pictures of those who are rebelling against vaccine mandates.
However, because of growing fear of the general public to stand up for their rights, NAMV will be dissolving as of January 1, 2017. They will continue fighting on the local and state levels, though.
Some may ask why they are fighting. Here are a few reasons WHY:
Flu shots and other vaccines come with severe risks.
February 16 to May 16, 2016, there were at least 206 reported vaccine injury cases, 116 of them listed in a report from the Department of Justice.
Encephalitis, acute inflammation of the brain, is a known side effect of some vaccinations- such as the live measles vaccine.
Guillain-Barré Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder, is one of the most common injuries of vaccines. While officially still called “rare,” it affects at least 3,000-6,000 people every year, and once someone has it, it can last their whole life. It’s also rarely diagnosed; some naturopathic doctors believe that large numbers of the population may have symptoms of this disorder without knowing it. (The CDC even admits that since the 70s there was a “small increased risk” for GBS following vaccination against swine flu, but doesn’t provide up to date risk-assessments for the new vaccines that are developed each year.)
Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease, makes the immune system attack the body. A study from 1990 showed that the Rubella vaccine may lead to this condition.
Other risks include chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (a neurological disorder), transverse myelitis (an inflammatory disorder), and even death.
The truth is, there are plenty of other ways to boost your immune system, that are both better for your health and less stressful on your system, and yet the medical establishment only seems interested in the one that will make them the most money- in the short AND long run.

NaturalNews) More than two weeks after the hoax launch of the fake “shell” website Healthcare.gov which did not function, the Obama administration has announced plans to bring in real programmers and attempt to build an online federal health exchange site that actually functions.
A widely publicized HHS blog post calls this, “doing better,” continuing the absurd lie that Healthcare.gov only suffered from minor glitches and small problems that need incremental “improvements.”
At no time has HHS acknowledged the fact that the Healthcare.gov website is structurally flawed and suffers from deep design failures that cannot simply be patched.
The utter incompetence of HHS is obvious in its attempted explanations for why the launch of the site has been such a disaster. “We have made a number of improvements to the account service,” the HHS blog states. “Initially, we implemented a virtual ‘waiting room,’ but many found this experience to be confusing.”
Maybe that’s because the very idea of an “online waiting room” is laughable. Imagine if Amazon.com had a waiting room where you had to take a number and wait your turn before you could make a purchase. Or imagine if Priceline.com made you wait an hour or two before you could check prices from multiple airlines. Nobody uses the internet to sit around and wait for some poorly-designed code to try to catch up. That the federal government thought this was a brilliant idea is yet more proof that the people running this system still have no clue what they’re doing.

Obama administration suddenly decides to start figuring out where the errors are, two weeks AFTER the launch

To the great astonishment of programmers everywhere, Healthcare.gov was only tested for 5 – 7 days before launch. Yep, less than a week of testing.
At no time was the site subjected to any sort of intelligent error monitoring or debugging effort. In fact, HHS is now celebrating the fact that it has suddenly discovered debugging principles and will now implement them!

We’re …putting in place tools and processes to aggressively monitor and identify parts of HealthCare.gov where individuals are encountering errors or having difficulty using the site, so we can prioritize and fix them.
Gee, that’s amazing. It’s almost as if they think they discovered “software debugging” or something. I mean, WOW, you mean there are tools for figuring out where errors happen? Somebody should patent that!
